The Kids Voting ballot has photos of the candidates for national and statewide office on the front, while just the names of local candidates are listed on the back.
As students arrive at precincts with parents, each student will sign in on a piece of paper to record his or her school and grade. The parent may assist student if they wish, or if the parent is waiting in a long line the student can bring the ballot over to the parent for assistance. After marking the ballot (see sample to the right), the student then puts completed ballot in the ballot box and receives an “I Voted” sticker.
